We have just set up a Twitter account.
We have been using Twitter (personal accounts) for quite some time, but we think it is time to get a Twitter account dedicated to the Digital Desktop Wallpaper website. So here it is!
Our Twitter username had to be shortened a little due to lack of space. We eventually opted for ddwallpaper.
It would be great if you could follow us!
We will be tweeting about new additions and updates to the site as well as other cool stuff we think our followers might be interested in.
We also look forward to reading the tweets from the people we follow – you never quite know what you are going to come across.

I have to admit that we haven’t exactly been prolific when it comes to sending out newsletters. I guess the main reason for this is that we have always been a little bit uncomfortable with the company who used to handle the newsletter for us.
We have now changed the mailing list management to another company, AWeber, and we hope this relationship will be much more enjoyable.
We have transferred the whole mailing list to AWeber and have set up the system to automatically send an email to everyone on the list whenever we add a new blog post. This will ensure you are informed when we add new desktop wallpapers or write a blog post on anything else we think you might be interested in.

We are currently going through the whole site in order to enhance the user experience.
We have been looking at the stats to see how the site is used and have taken some of the major findings on board. We will be acting on these during the next few months.
The first step in this process is to make the desktop wallpapers available in more resolutions than we previously have done. Historically, the user got one option – 1024 x 768 or 800 x 600. We will be changing this so the wallpapers are available in 10 different sizes – 6 standard and 4 widescreen.
We have also redesigned the download page to accommodate this change.
As we make the changes the new pages will be made live so you will see a bit of variety as you are looking around the site, but please bear with us.
If you come across any problems or errors, we would appreciate it if you could let us know so we can resolve the problem.
